Runde
Von Doren Runde is named after the bird island Runde, located Out in the rough sea outside Ålesund, Norway. No other island in Scandinavia has a more unique and varied population of seabirds.
Runde is also known as “Treasure Island” because of findings of gold found in the shipwreck of Akerendam, a Dutch ship that sunk in 1725.
